By accessing, browsing, subscribing to, or otherwise using any Femme Fortified property — including the Femme Fortified website (femmefortified.com), the Femme Fortified newsletter, and the Lab Results Explainer interactive tool (iron-labs.femmefortified.com) (collectively, the "Services") — you ("User," "you") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Isabelle Feldhaus, the individual operating the Femme Fortified brand ("Femme Fortified," "we," "us," "our"). These Terms incorporate by reference any additional policies posted on the Femme Fortified website or linked from a Service at the point of acceptance, including the Privacy Policy.
You represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and that your use of the Services will comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The Lab Results Explainer is intended for adults aged seventeen (17) and over; the tool prevents under-17 users from proceeding past the age-entry field.
Femme Fortified is a research education brand that translates published scientific research on women's health, nutrition, and related topics into plain language for general educational purposes. The Services may include, without limitation:
(a) Newsletter: editorial content delivered via email and hosted on Beehiiv;
(b) Lab Results Explainer: a free, web-based educational tool that classifies a user's blood-work values into research-based patterns and generates a personalized PDF for use in clinical conversations. The tool does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe;
(c) Related content: social media posts, articles, videos, podcasts, and any other content published under the Femme Fortified name or related brand identifiers.
Femme Fortified may modify, add, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.
The Services are operated by Isabelle Feldhaus, an individual based in France. Isabelle Feldhaus is not a licensed physician, nurse, dietitian, registered nutritionist, mental health professional, or any other licensed healthcare provider. Femme Fortified is not a medical practice, clinic, healthcare provider, or covered entity under any applicable health-information law.

The Services and all Content are for general educational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, clinical guidance, diagnosis, prescription, or treatment, and are not a substitute for consultation with a licensed healthcare provider.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Femme Fortified:
(a) does not diagnose any medical, psychological, nutritional, or other health condition;
(b) does not prescribe, recommend, or advise on specific medications, supplements, dosages, timing schedules, protocols, or treatments for any individual User;
(c) does not provide medical, clinical, psychological, psychiatric, behavioral-health, or therapeutic services of any kind;
(d) does not form, replace, supplement, or exercise any authority over the care provided by your licensed healthcare provider;
(e) makes no representation or warranty that any research finding, statistic, or general information presented through the Services applies to your individual situation, circumstances, or physiology.
The Services report what published third-party research shows, in general terms, for a general adult audience. Any references to dose ranges, absorption percentages, deficiency states, clinical terminology, lab-value patterns, or other scientific or clinical concepts reflect published third-party research and are presented solely for educational context. Such references are not prescriptions, diagnoses, or recommendations for you as an individual.
You are solely responsible for any decisions about your health, including whether to consult a licensed healthcare provider, whether to undergo clinical testing, and whether to start, stop, or modify any supplement, medication, or health protocol. Always consult your licensed healthcare provider before making any health-related decision. If you are experiencing symptoms that concern you, seek evaluation from a qualified clinician without delay and do not rely on the Services for urgent or emergency health concerns.
Nothing in the Services — including any content, tool output, newsletter issue, email, direct message, social-media post, reply, comment, or other communication — creates a provider-patient, physician-patient, therapist-client, psychologist-client, dietitian-client, consultant-client, coach-client, fiduciary, or any other professional or advisory relationship between you and Femme Fortified or Isabelle Feldhaus.
You may not rely on any content or communication from the Services as individualized medical, clinical, nutritional, legal, financial, or professional advice. The Services are informational and educational in nature and are intended for a general audience. Communications from Femme Fortified — including written responses, replies to intake forms, and any direct correspondence — are educational communications only and do not create any professional or advisory relationship.
All content, materials, software, code, tools, decision logic, designs, design system, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, service marks, audio, video, and other intellectual property contained in or made available through the Services (collectively, the "Content") is the exclusive property of Femme Fortified, Isabelle Feldhaus, or their respective licensors, and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, database, and other intellectual-property laws of France, the United States, and other jurisdictions. The research papers cited within the Content remain the intellectual property of their respective authors and publishers.
Subject to your continued compliance with these Terms, Femme Fortified grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Content solely for your personal, non-commercial, educational purposes. You retain any rights to your own information (such as your email address). By entering information into the Services or subscribing to the newsletter, you grant us the limited right to process and use that information as described in the Privacy Policy.
You may not, and you agree not to permit any third party to:
(a) copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, perform, display, sell, license, sublicense, or otherwise exploit any Content, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or with prior written consent from Femme Fortified;
(b) create derivative works from the Content;
(c) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code or decision logic of any software or tool made available through the Services;
(d) frame the Services or any output within another site without attribution;
(e) remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from any Content;
(f) use any Content to train, tune, fine-tune, embed, vectorize, or otherwise develop any machine-learning model, artificial-intelligence system, or automated tool;
(g) use any Content for commercial purposes, including without limitation publishing, reselling, licensing, aggregating, or incorporating the Content into any product, service, database, newsletter, or publication that competes with or substitutes for the Services;
(h) scrape, data-mine, or systematically retrieve data from the Services by any automated means.
Unauthorized use of the Content may violate applicable laws and may result in immediate termination of your access to the Services and legal action.
You may use the Services for your own personal, non-commercial, educational purposes. You may also use the Lab Results Explainer on behalf of someone else (for example, a family member) provided you have their informed consent to enter their information.
You agree not to:
(a) use the Services to make medical, clinical, nutritional, or health decisions that should be made with a licensed healthcare provider;
(b) represent, characterize, or hold out the Services or any Content as medical advice, clinical guidance, diagnosis, prescription, treatment, or as Femme Fortified-endorsed medical advice to any third party;
(c) use the Lab Results Explainer to provide diagnostic or clinical services to third parties as a professional service, unless you are a licensed clinician doing so in a clinically appropriate context, in which case you bear full professional responsibility for your use;
(d) use the Services in any manner that violates any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
(e) interfere with or attempt to interfere with the integrity, security, performance, or proper functioning of the Services;
(f) submit false, misleading, or harmful information through any Service intake form;
(g) impersonate any other person or entity in connection with your use of the Services;
(h) upload or transmit any harmful code, material, or content that infringes third-party rights;
(i) attempt to circumvent any access controls or technical protections applicable to the Services.
You are solely responsible for all information you provide to the Services and for ensuring that such information does not infringe on the rights of any third party.
If you subscribe to the Femme Fortified newsletter, you agree to receive emails from us as described in the Privacy Policy. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We do not spam.
The Services and all Content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Femme Fortified and Isabelle Feldhaus expressly disclaim all warranties, including without limitation:
(a) implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement;
(b) warranties that the Services or Content are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free;
(c) warranties that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or free of harmful components;
(d) warranties that any research, statistics, or findings referenced in the Content apply to you individually;
(e) warranties that any outcome, health improvement, or result will occur from use of the Services;
(f) warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
You acknowledge that scientific understanding evolves over time; that published research may be revised, retracted, or superseded; and that Femme Fortified has no obligation to update, supplement, or correct Content to reflect later developments. We make a good-faith effort to keep the research base current, but the version of the Services you used at any given time reflects our best research understanding at that point. You acknowledge that the Services are not intended for emergency health situations and that you should not rely on them for any urgent health concern.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties — including under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, and applicable U.S. state consumer-protection laws. To the extent such exclusions are prohibited, the excluded warranties shall apply only to the minimum extent required by such law, and the remaining warranty exclusions shall remain in full force and effect.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Femme Fortified, Isabelle Feldhaus, or any of their affiliates, agents, licensors, or service providers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, health outcomes, or other intangible losses — arising out of or relating to these Terms, your use of or inability to use the Services, or any reliance on any Content, including but not limited to damages arising from decisions you make about your own health, medical care, supplementation, diet, or any other action taken in response to information provided by the Services, even if Femme Fortified has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You use the Services at your own risk. You acknowledge and agree that these limitations are a material condition of Femme Fortified providing the Services at no charge, and that Femme Fortified would not provide the Services absent these limitations. The limitations apply regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages, or for liability arising from non-excludable consumer guarantees (including under the Australian Consumer Law). To the extent such limitations are prohibited in your jurisdiction, liability shall be limited to the minimum extent permitted by applicable law, and the remaining limitations shall remain in full force and effect.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Femme Fortified, Isabelle Feldhaus, and their respective affiliates, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against any and all claims, damages, judgments, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs) arising out of or relating to:
(a) your use of, reliance on, or misuse of the Services or any Content;
(b) your violation of these Terms;
(c) your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or right of any third party;
(d) your representation, characterization, or holding out of the Services or any Content as medical advice, clinical guidance, diagnosis, treatment, or prescription to any third party;
(e) any information you submit through the Services that is false, misleading, or infringes any third party's rights.
Femme Fortified may modify these Terms at any time in its sole discretion. Modified Terms are effective upon posting to the Femme Fortified website, and the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms will be revised to reflect the modification. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, such as by email to subscribers or by prominent notice on the Femme Fortified website. Your continued use of the Services after modifications constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, your sole remedy is to cease using the Services.
You may stop using the Services at any time. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. Femme Fortified may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to any or all Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to access the Services ceases immediately. Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including without limitation intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law — shall survive.
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Services, are governed by French law, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising from your use of the Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer-protection rights to which you may be entitled under the mandatory laws of your jurisdiction of residence, including (without limitation) consumer-protection laws of the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, or Australia (including the Australian Consumer Law).
Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by emailing [email protected] with a written description of the dispute. We will attempt to resolve the matter within thirty (30) days.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful, void, or unenforceable in any respect by a court of competent jurisdiction, the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and if no such modification is possible, the provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
No failure or delay by Femme Fortified to exercise any right or enforce any provision of these Terms shall constitute a waiver of such right or provision. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer these Terms or any of your rights or obligations under them without Femme Fortified's prior written consent. Femme Fortified may assign or transfer these Terms in whole or in part at any time. These Terms bind, and inure to the benefit of, the parties and their permitted successors and assigns.
The Services may link to, integrate with, or be delivered via third-party services and platforms — including without limitation Beehiiv, Cloudflare, and social-media platforms. Your use of those third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies. Femme Fortified is not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of any third-party service.
Your use of the Services is subject to the Femme Fortified Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms and describes how we collect, use, and disclose information. If the Privacy Policy conflicts with these Terms with respect to information practices, the Privacy Policy controls.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Femme Fortified regarding the Services, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral, regarding the same subject matter.

Notices to you may be provided to the email address associated with your subscription and shall be deemed given when sent.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be legally bound by them. You further acknowledge that the disclaimers, warranty limitations, liability limitations, and indemnification provisions in these Terms are material terms, and that Femme Fortified would not provide the Services absent these Terms.
