Femme Fortified is a research-education publication that translates published research on women's health and nutrition into plain language. Nothing produced, distributed, or made available under the Femme Fortified name — including the newsletter, interactive tools (such as the Lab Results Explainer), articles, social media posts, podcasts, and any other content or output — diagnoses medical conditions, prescribes or recommends treatments or dosages, or replaces evaluation by a qualified healthcare professional.

Any clinical interpretation of your health — including decisions about whether to take a supplement, undergo further testing, or change any aspect of your care — belongs to a licensed physician or other qualified clinician who knows your complete medical context.

Femme Fortified content is designed for adults. Specific tools may impose additional age or eligibility restrictions, which are stated within the tool itself (for example, the Lab Results Explainer is restricted to adults aged seventeen (17) and over). Femme Fortified does not address pediatric health, acute clinical emergencies, or any condition requiring specialized clinical workup.

5. Research Limitations

Femme Fortified content reflects the published research available at the time it is created. Research evolves. What is current best evidence today may be revised, retracted, or superseded. We update content periodically as evidence warrants, but Femme Fortified has no obligation to update past content to reflect later developments. Where applicable, individual products carry their own version date.

6. Populations Underrepresented in the Research

Much of the published health research that Femme Fortified draws from has been conducted in predominantly White cohorts in high-income countries. Research on women of color, trans and non-binary individuals on hormone therapy, women over 70, and other groups is more limited. We note these limitations where they apply; your clinician is the right person to weigh individual factors.

Femme Fortified content is based on the best available research at the time of creation. Both the research base and our methodology have limitations. We make no warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. You use Femme Fortified content at your own risk.

Femme Fortified is an independent publication operated by Isabelle Feldhaus from France. These terms are governed by French law. If you are located in a jurisdiction that grants additional consumer protections, those protections apply where applicable.

This Disclaimer is part of, and incorporated by reference into, the Femme Fortified Terms of Service. Information practices are governed by the Femme Fortified Privacy Policy. Both documents apply to all Femme Fortified properties.
